Terms of Service
Effective date: June 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By installing the Chargeback Defender Chrome extension or accessing chargeback-defenders.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.
2. Description of service
Chargeback Defender is a Chrome browser extension that helps TikTok Shop sellers track chargeback disputes, manage appeal deadlines, generate appeal drafts, and upload evidence. The Service does not guarantee any particular outcome for your chargeback appeals. Results depend on your individual circumstances, the evidence you provide, and TikTok Shop's own review process.
3. Account and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
- You may not share your account with others or use the Service on behalf of another person without authorization.
4. Subscription and payment
- Access to premium features requires a paid subscription, billed monthly at the rate for your chosen plan (Starter, Growth, or Scale).
- Payments are processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to their respective terms and privacy policies.
- Subscriptions automatically renew each month. You may cancel at any time from within the extension; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will apply to your next billing period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of TikTok Shop's policies.
- Submit false or fabricated evidence in your chargeback appeals.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension.
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any third party.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Chargeback Defender extension, website, and all associated content (excluding your own data) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal business purposes during the term of your subscription.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular chargeback appeal will succeed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chargeback Defender and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost chargeback appeals, or data loss — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with TikTok Shop Seller Center, Supabase, ExtensionPay, Stripe, and Resend. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok Shop. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for any changes TikTok Shop makes to its platform, policies, or chargeback procedures.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
